SWEDA & Art Bank Present LifeCraft: Music, Spoken Word, Craft – a Charity Cabaret Fundraiser
An atmospheric evening of crochet & chat, spoken word, and live music from Gavin Osborn & The Comment Section as well as Jess Chivers, joining together for a patchwork cabaret, all in aid of SWEDA and Art Bank.
Spoken word on the night brings humourous poetic leanings, courtesy of James Brinsford, Phil Genoux, Esme Hayes and AD Smith – all regular performers as part of the INKlings project.
To raise awareness of SWEDA and bring the community together, we plan to sew together crocheted and knitted squares into one giant scarf to wrap around Market Cross in Shepton, demonstrating just how close-knit our community is, and to remind people that SWEDA are here to help anyone affected by eating disorders.
