Art Bank Introducing: Kaira (NB No tapas for sale – sorry)
*Please note that unfortunately there will be no tapas for sale on this evening.
Art Bank Introducing this month is with Kaira, a transdisciplinary duo featuring classically trained pianist Kirsty Chaplin and movement artist Liz Kirk-Channing.
Using the combined language of music and movement, Kaira explores themes and concepts found within classical music and across all art forms, driven by the belief that combining different mediums creates a greater connection to the works for both the performer and audience.
Kirsty Chaplin is a pianist and performance artist who studied at the Royal Academy of Music, and Liz Kirk-Channing studied performance and movement at Central St Martins and Trinity Laban, London.
Kaira’s work has captivated audiences across London, including at RAM Summer Festival, Bloomsbury Festival and their very own independent arts night at State 51, Shoreditch.
Doors at 6.30pm, performance starts at 7.45pm.
Entry is free but donations are very welcome.
