Write Where You Are (Creative Writing): Art Bank Online
In this writing workshop with writer Alison Powell, you’ll experiment with psychogeography, exploring how your environment can be a source of inspiration for creativity. Working from the micro to the macro, you’ll begin with your immediate surroundings, writing about the space you inhabit for the workshop and then move out into the landscape around you. You’ll be invited to consider the streets and houses, the fields and forests that form your current home and explore how that space can inspire new writing.
The workshop will offer activities, prompts, time to write and opportunities to share your words with others. It is suitable for writers at all stages – whether you’re coming to the page for the first time in years, or whether you have a regular writing practice.
