Nicholas Todhunter ‘Portraits & Landscapes’ Exhibition Launch
Nicholas Todhunter trained at Charles Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy, the only atelier in Europe where traditional realism was taught. He spent three years there, learning drawing and painting and being introduced to the visual language and techniques of painters from earlier centuries. After his studies in Florence, he moved to Venice to settle as a painter. Nicholas divides his time between Somerset and Venice.
Nicholas has exhibited throughout Europe and America. This retrospective is his first in Somerset. He, and his partner Nicola, are the current patrons of Bowlish House.
The exhibition can be seen until April 25th whenever the venue is open. At tonight’s launch there’ll be the opportunity to talk to the artist and, from 8.30, enjoy music from a DJ (to be announced). All welcome, free entry.
